Oxnard, California (July 13, 2021) – A 69-year-old man died following a pedestrian accident at an intersection in Oxnard late Saturday night, according to a report by the Oxnard Police Department.

The fatal crash took place at Victoria Avenue and Hemlock Street just around 11:58 p.m. on July 10.

The pedestrian was reportedly hit by a vehicle while walking in the southbound lanes of Victoria Avenue, approaching the intersection at Hemlock Street under unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the unidentified pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.

The involved motorist, a 28-year-old Oxnard man, remained at the scene and cooperated with the law enforcers.
