1 Injured in San Diego Car Crash on 8 Freeway near 15 Freeway
San Diego, California (July 11, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that left at least one person injured in San Diego early Sunday morning.
The crash happened along the westbound lanes of Interstate 8 Freeway near the Interstate 15 Freeway connector at about 2:13 a.m.
A silver Toyota Corolla and a white Kia were involved in the collision. However, the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.
The Kia driver was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
