One Person Seriously Injured in Lemon Grove Crash on Highway 94 near Lemon Grove Avenue
Lemon Grove, California (July 10, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Thursday morning hit-and-run accident that left one person seriously injured in Lemon Grove.
The major injury accident transpired at about 2:00 a.m., on July 8, on Highway 94 near Lemon Grove Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Mercedes was struck by another vehicle and was essentially ripped apart after it went up an embankment and hit a large signpost.
The driver of the Mercedes was ejected onto the roadway due to the collision. The driver was hospitalized with major injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene and is being sought by the police.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
