Hollister Crash at Fairview Road and Spring Grove Road Seriously Injures 1
Hollister, California (July 10, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Hollister Thursday afternoon.
The major injury DUI car accident was reported at approximately 5:12 p.m. near Fairview Road and Spring Grove Road.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a white GMC pickup truck collided with a gray Ford Escape at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
Due to the impact, one of the vehicles acquired major damage after slamming into a nearby fence.
One person was pinned inside the wreckage and had to be extricated.

The rescued victim was rushed to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries, including a possible broken leg.
Authorities affirmed one of the motorists was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
The accident remains under active investigation.
