Long Beach, California (July 9, 2021) – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Long Beach on Wednesday night, according to the police.
The incident happened at around 10:35 p.m. July 7, at East Anaheim Street and Ximeno Avenue.
Police said a sedan traveling west on Anaheim Street ran a red light at the intersection and collided with an SUV and a pickup truck.

Seven people were taken to hospitals and three of them had critical injuries.
Firefighters responded to the incident and extricated parties who were trapped in the wreckage.
Authorities believe alcohol and speed were factors in the collision.
An 18-year-old was expected to be booked following the crash.
