Los Banos, California (July 4, 2021) – A woman was killed Sunday in a traffic collision in the Los Banos area, authorities said.
The deadly crash took place on Henry Miller Avenue near Johnson Road.
According to the authorities, a two-axle flatbed truck hauling a wooden trailer was traveling on Henry Miller Avenue when the trailer detached from the truck and came to a stop near Johnson Road.
A car heading westbound on Henry Miller Avenue collided with the trailer. After the impact, the car spun into another lane, where it collided with another vehicle.

The driver of the car, a 38-year-old woman, was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the second vehicle did not suffer any injuries, authorities said.
