1 Injured in Car Accident at Surrey Junction Lane and Ridge Road in Sutter Creek
Amador, California (July 4, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car crash in Sutter Creek on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:31 a.m. in the area of Surrey Junction Lane and Ridge Road.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, the collision sent one of the cars off the roadway where it crashed into a tree.
One person was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be extricated before being transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
