2 People Critically Injured in Lake Elsinore Crash at Railroad Canyon Road and Country Club Drive
Lake Elsinore, California (July 3, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday evening traffic accident that left two people critically injured in Lake Elsinore.
The major injury three-vehicle accident transpired at about 4:00 p.m., on July 2, at the intersection of Railroad Canyon Road and Country Club Drive.
According to the officials, a driver was allegedly traveling over the speed limit when they lost control and smashed into another vehicle head-on, causing a collision with a third vehicle.
Two drivers were critically injured in the accident and were hospitalized for treatment. The other driver was not injured in the collision.
Intoxication was suspected of having played a role in the mishap.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
