Cajon Pass, California (July 3, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a traffic crash between two vehicles in Cajon Pass early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at around 12:22 a.m. on Interstate 15 near Oak Hill Road.
The crash involved a white 2017 Hyundai Elantra and a second vehicle that caught fire following the crash. The Hyundai had major back damage.

The injuries sustained in the accident were minor. The number of the victims was not immediately released.
At least three northbound lanes of I-15 were closed temporarily for the investigation.
The CHP is working to determine the cause of the accident.
