Minor Injuries Sustained in Alpine Car Collision on 8 Freeway near Peutz Valley Road
Alpine, California (July 1, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle collision that took place Wednesday evening in Alpine, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP received reports of the crash at about 6:49 p.m. on eastbound 8 Freeway, just east of Peutz Valley Road.
Two vehicles collided, and one of them overturned onto its roof. It is alleged that the overturned car was cut off by the other vehicle prior to the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to find at least one person with minor injuries. It was not clear if the party was hospitalized.
No other details were available, but CHP is investigating.
