Woodland, California (July 1, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run accident that occurred at an intersection in Woodland Saturday night.

The two-vehicle collision happened in the area of East Street and Churchill Downs Avenue just about 10:15 p.m. on June 26.

It was not immediately established how the collision occurred at the Woodland intersection.

At least one unidentified person was hurt following the collision.

One of the motorists did not stop after the crash and escaped the scene.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
