Yuba City, CA: At Least 1 Sustains Major Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99
At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Yuba City Collision on Highway 99 near Bogue Road

Yuba City, California (July 1, 2021) – At least one person suffered major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that took place Wednesday afternoon in Yuba City, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup was reported at around 5:37 p.m. on northbound Highway 99, just north of Bogue Road.
According to authorities, the collision involved a gray Ford Edge SUV, a Mercedes SUV, and at least two other SUVs.
The Mercedes SUV ended up about 5 feet down a ditch after the impact.
A female driver called authorities saying that she was involved in the crash but was not hit and no one in her car was injured. However, debris from the collision damaged her car. She also advised that she left the scene because she had an infant in the vehicle.
At least one person suffered major injuries in the pileup. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
