Fresno, California (June 30, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday morning in a collision with a pickup truck in northeastern Fresno, according to police.

The deadly motorcycle crash took place at the intersection of Burton Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue.

Police said the motorcyclist collided with a white pickup truck that was turning from Burton Avenue onto Gettysburg Avenue.

Motorcyclist Killed in Fresno Crash

The motorcyclist, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman in her 50s who was in the pickup truck was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

It remains unknown if speed played a role on the motorcyclist’s part.

The crash remains under investigation.
