Heights, California (June 26, 2021) – Oleg Smyk has been identified as the victim who died following a traffic collision Monday night in Citrus Heights.

The fatal crash happened on Birdcage Street between Sunhill Drive and Chancery Court at about 8:05p.m. on June 21.

The accident involved a motorcycle ridden by Oleg and unspecified vehicle that crashed on the highway for undetermined reasons.

Due to the impact, the bike veered off the roadway before crashing into a tree and Smyk was ejected 20 feet away from it.

Sadly, Oleg was pronounced dead at the scene.
