Man Killed in Sanger Accident on Greenwood Avenue near North Avenue
Sanger, California (June 25, 2021) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Greenwood Avenue near Sanger on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred south of North Avenue at around 9:00 p.m.
CHP said the pedestrian was on the roadway, possibly after falling from a bicycle, when he was hit by a southbound vehicle

The driver fled from the scene after the accident.
The victim, a Hispanic male, died in the crash.
Authorities said the suspect was operating a black truck that possibly had lights on the roof and may have front-end damage.
The incident is under investigation.
