Whittier, California (June 23, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run collision that left one person injured in Whittier Monday evening.

The two-vehicle collision happened at Pioneer Boulevard and Washington Boulevard just around 7:08 p.m. on June 21.

As per the report, a black Nissan 4-door sedan crashed with a second vehicle at the intersection under unclear circumstances.

One person riding in the Nissan sustained unknown injuries following the accident.

The operator of the second car reportedly escaped the scene before the police arrived.
