Concord, California (June 22, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in Concord, the California Highway Patrol said.

At approximately 12:50 p.m., on June 22, the CHP received a crash report involving a pedestrian and a Honda on Concord Avenue at Meridian Park Boulevard.

The circumstances that led to the collision in the afternoon hours were not immediately established at the report time.

Concord Pedestrian Accident

As per the dispatch, the unidentified pedestrian sustained unspecified injuries in the accident.

Officials requested a tow truck to remove the wrecked Honda away from the crash site.

The accident remains under investigation.
