2 Injured after Plane Crash near Big Bear Airport in San Bernardino

San Bernardino, California (June 22, 2021) – Two people were injured after a small plane crash near Big Bear Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened at about 1:30 p.m. June 21, the San Bernardino County Fire Department said.
The single-engine Piper PA28 was attempting to land at the airport east of Los Angeles when it crashed.
The plane caught fire after the crash.
Two occupants of the plane were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The NTSB is investigating the accident.
