CHP Investigating Los Angeles Accident on Hollywood 101 Freeway near Melrose Avenue

Los Angeles, California (June 21, 2021) – Possible injuries were reported after two vehicles collided Monday morning in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.
The two-vehicle collision took place on the Hollywood 101 Freeway near Melrose Avenue at approximately 10:55 a.m.
As per the report, a black Chevrolet Spark sedan slammed into the back of a white Ford Fusion on June 21 for undetermined reasons.
Due to the impact, the Ford acquired moderate rear-end damage.

All involved parties were attended to by medical personnel who responded to the scene shortly after the accident.
The crash resulted in the closure of the Santa Monica Boulevard onramp to the southbound 101 for an unknown time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
