North Beach, California (June 22, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run collision in North Beach on Monday evening, according to the San Francisco police.
The incident occurred in the area of Beach and Columbus streets at around 5 p.m., June 21.
Police said a woman was walking in the area when she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The involved driver fled from the scene after the crash.
Police said the suspect was driving a white Infiniti SUV with California license plate 7MJJ084. Police believe the vehicle was involved in burglaries in the area of Fisherman’s Wharf just before the collision.
The incident is under investigation.
