One Person Killed in Bakersfield Crash on Interstate 5 near Stockdale Highway
Bakersfield, California (June 18, 2021) – One person was killed in a fiery semi-truck accident on Friday morning in Bakersfield, authorities said.
The deadly accident transpired at about 6:00 a.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near Stockdale Highway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle collided with a semi-truck on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
As a result of the crash impact, the vehicle reportedly caught fire.

The semi was hauling up to 40,000 pounds of solar panels, the officials said.
