Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car at Railroad Canyon Road and Canyon Lake Drive in Canyon Lake
Canyon Lake, California (June 17, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Canyon Lake early Thursday morning.
The accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. in the area of Railroad Canyon Road and Canyon Lake Drive South, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pedestrian was walking at the intersection and was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said the pedestrian was killed in the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the pedestrian accident.
