Old River, California (June 16, 2021) The Kern County Coroner has identified the woman who died following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in Old River as Amy Ondine Alteneder, 54, of Rancho Palos Verdes.

The fatal car crash happened on Highway 119 shortly before 2:00 p.m. on June 8.

A vehicle driven by Amy Alteneder north on Old River Road approaching the highway was hit by a semi-truck that was heading east on Highway 119.

Amy Ondine’s car reportedly pulled into the path of the truck prior to the collision.

Alteneder was pronounced dead in the accident.

Meanwhile, the truck driver appeared uninjured in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
