Anthony Eunice ID’d as Teen Driver Killed in Ramona Crash on Arena Way at Arena Drive

Ramona, California (June 14, 2021) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the teen driver who died Sunday evening following a car crash in Ramona as Anthony Eunice, 17, of Ramona.
The tragic wreck happened at around 7:17 p.m. Sunday, June 13, in the 23900 block of Arena Way at Arena Drive.
Authorities said Eunice was driving a truck eastbound on Arena Way when another car that had stopped for a red light on Arena Drive pulled out in front of him.
Both vehicles ultimately collided. Eunice’s vehicle overturned multiple times in the accident, ejecting him.
Eunice was taken to Ramona Fire Station 81 prior to being airlifted to a trauma center. He succumbed to his injuries while en route to the hospital.
No other details were given about the crash, but California Highway Patrol is investigating.
