Fairfield Man Struck and Killed by Truck at Gas Station in Fairfield ID’d as Martin Clifton
Martin Clifton Killed in Fairfield Pedestrian Crash on Travis Boulevard

Fairfield, California (June 14, 2021) – A Solano County Coroner’s Official has identified the Fairfield male victim who died after being struck by a vehicle early Friday morning in Fairfield as 59-year-old Martin Clifton.
The fatal pedestrian collision happened at a gas station on Travis Boulevard shortly before 5:20 a.m.
The accident happened when a big rig was pumping gas in the 3000 block of Travis Boulevard in the morning hours. Clifton reportedly wedged himself between the truck and attached trailer for unknown reasons.
After the truck driver finished his work, he drove away, crashing into Martin.
Fairfield Accident Kills Martin Clifton
Sadly, Clifton died in the accident.
Meanwhile, the involved driver told authorities that he had no idea he had hit someone.
More details about this accident will be released after the CHP completes the investigation.
