Brea, California (June 14, 2021) – An alleged hit-and-run crash that happened Saturday afternoon in Brea injured one person.

The multi-vehicle collision happened along the 57 Freeway, just south of Lambert Road on-ramp, at approximately 12:50 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how a black Lexus SUV, a silver Suburban sedan, and a white Ford F-350 pickup collided on the southbound of the interstate.

One person, whose name was not immediately revealed, sustained unknown injuries following the crash.

The Lexus operator reportedly escaped the crash site before the police arrived.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
