One Person Killed in North Hollywood Pedestrian Accident on Lankershim Boulevard
North Hollywood, California (June 12, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train on Saturday morning in North Hollywood, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 9:07 a.m. in the 7100 block of Lankershim Boulevard.
According to the officials, the pedestrian was struck by an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner passenger train in the area in unclear circumstances.
Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no injuries reported from the train.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
