Humboldt County, California (June 11, 2021) – Two juveniles were hospitalized Friday morning following a traffic accident in the Mason Gulch area of Humboldt County.

According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident log, the crash happened a little before 9:30 a.m. on Highway 299 near Mile Marker 29.7.

CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason on Highway 299. One of the vehicles involved was a black Ford Explorer.

Two children sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital. The names of the victims and their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
