34-Year-Old Wasco Man Killed in Wasco Crash on Magnolia Avenue and Merced Avenue
Wasco, California (June 8, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Monday afternoon traffic accident that killed a 33-year-old man in Wasco.
The deadly accident occurred at about noon, on June 7, at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Merced Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi-truck was headed southbound on Magnolia Avenue when it stopped at a stop sign at the Merced Avenue intersection.
Unfortunately, the truck collided with a 2015 Toyota eastbound on Merced Avenue west of Magnolia Avenue and hit the truck as it entered the intersection.

Sadly, the Wasco man who was driving the Toyota sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
