5 Injured in Santa Barbara Collision on Highway 101 at Milpas Off-Ramp

Santa Barbara, California (June 5, 2021) – Five people were injured early Saturday morning in a crash caused by a suspected wrong-way motorist in Santa Barbara, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 1:25 a.m. on Highway 101 at Milpas exit.
As per the CHP report, two Nissans were involved in the collision.

A total of five people were injured as a result of the accident. Three of them were transported to Cottage Hospital in unknown condition.
The no. 1 and 2 lanes were closed while the investigation and cleanup took place.
No other details were immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
