Chanel Garcia Killed in Huntington Beach Motorcycle Collision on Beach Boulevard
Huntington Beach, California (June 4, 2021) – Chanel Garcia, 26, of Newport Beach died at a hospital following a suspected DUI motorcycle accident that occurred in Huntington Beach on May 31, according to the authorities.
The incident happened on Beach Boulevard near Slater Avenue at around 7:30 p.m.
Police said an SUV driven by 26-year-old Christopher Johnstone, of Costa Mesa, rear-ended a motorcycle driven by Garcia.

Garcia was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased on Friday morning.
Johnstone was later arrested on charges of driving under the influence, causing bodily injury and possession of a controlled narcotic substance.
The crash remained under investigation.
