Myrian Cascella ID’d as Woman Killed in Pasadena Pedestrian Accident on Allen Street and Las Lunas Street
Pasadena, California (June 2, 2021) – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the elderly pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning at an intersection in Pasadena as Myrian Cascella, 80, of Pasadena.
The fatal crash happened shortly after 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Allen Avenue and Las Lunas Street.
Authorities said Cascella was walking east across the intersection when she was hit by an SUV that was traveling northbound.

Cascella was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials affirmed the driver of the SUV, a Pasadena woman in her 50s, remained at the crash site and cooperated with the investigation. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
