Man Killed in Chula Vista Crash on Third Avenue
Chula Vista, California (June 2, 2021) – The Chula Vista Police Department is searching for a driver who fled from the scene after striking a and killing a pedestrian early Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred just before 12:30 a.m. June 1, in the 900 block of Third Avenue.
Emergency crews responded to the accident and performed life-saving measures on the pedestrian.

The victim, identified as a man aged 40-50, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police did not have information on the hit-and-run suspect.
