Rider Hospitalized after El Dorado County Motorcycle Accident at Ice House and Pickett Pen Roads
El Dorado County, California (May 29, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Friday afternoon in a traffic crash at an intersection in El Dorado County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At about 5:07 p.m. Friday, May 29, the CHP officers responded to the area of Ice House and Pickett Pen roads near the Jones Place community, to investigate the report of a collision involving a motorcyclist and a truck.
The motorcyclist reportedly collided with a truck at the intersection, the CHP said.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The name and condition of the rider were not immediately disclosed.
The intersection of Ice House and Pickett Pen Roads was closed due to the crash.
No further details about the collision were immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
