23-Year-Old Man Killed in El Cajon Crash on North Johnson Avenue near West Main Street
El Cajon, California (May 28, 2021) – One person was killed in a motorcycle collision involving a vehicle on North Johnson Avenue in El Cajon on Friday morning, according to the El Cajon police.
The wreck happened at around 8 a.m. north of West Main Street.
Police said a 23-year-old man was riding a motorcycle northbound on North Johnson Avenue when he collided with a Chevrolet work truck.
Police believe the driver of the truck made an unsafe turning movement and failed to yield to the motorcyclist, leading to the crash.
Rider Killed in El Cajon Motorcycle Crash
The motorcyclist died at the scene of the crash.
The other driver remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
The incident remained under investigation.
