Apple Valley, CA: Van Hits Back of Semi on I-15 near Hodge Rd Off-Ramp Resulting in Injuries
At Least 1 Sustains Minor Injuries in Apple Valley Crash on Interstate 15 near Hodge Road Off-Ramp
Apple Valley, California (May 27, 2021) – At least one person was hurt in a traffic collision involving a big rig that happened Wednesday morning in Apple Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck occurred at about 9:07 a.m. on southbound Interstate 15 near Hodge Road off-ramp.
According to the CHP report, the driver of a semi-truck called authorities reporting that he was stopped on the right-hand shoulder with hazard lights on when, for unknown reasons, a silver minivan crashed into the back of the semi.
First responders found the minivan blocking the slow lane.
The report said at least one person suffered minor injuries in the accident. An ambulance was sent to the scene to provide medical aid to the patient.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
