Rider Killed in Cottonwood Bicycle Accident on Gas Point Road near Happy Valley Road
Cottonwood, California (May 25, 2021) – A bicyclist was killed in a Cottonwood hit-and-run crash that occurred on Gas Point Road east of Happy Valley Road Tuesday morning, according to the CHP.
The incident was reported at around 11:05 a.m.
According to CHP, a bicycle rider was struck by a vehicle, whose driver fled from the scene after the incident.

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
CHP described the suspect vehicle as a red colored vehicle with front-end damage.
The crash is under investigation.
