Stockton, California (May 24, 2021) – A Stockton accident involving two motorcyclists and a sedan late Saturday night seriously injured one person.

The major injury crash happened near the intersection of Mariposa Road and Murphy Road at about 11:45 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the collision occurred at the intersection on May 22

Due to the impact, the sedan caught fire.

Stockton Motorcycle Accident

One unidentified person was transported to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries sustained in the collision.

The crash resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
