Tracy, California (May 24, 2021) – According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, at least one person was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle collision in Tracy early Sunday morning.
The CHP said the crash occurred on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Interstate 205 transition just after midnight.
The accident involved a van and two other automobiles that crashed on the southbound side of the freeway for reasons still under investigation.
Due to the impact, the van fall 40 feet down an embankment.

As per the CHP dispatch, one unidentified person was rushed to an area hospital for treatment major injuries sustained in the collision.
The southbound lanes of the Interstate 5 were closed down as investigation and clean-up took place.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
