Colleen Coleman ID’d as 1 of 3 People Injured in Fatal Landers Collision on Reche Road
Landers, California (May 23, 2021) – Colleen Coleman, 54, of Twentynine Palms, has been identified as one of the three parties who were injured in a deadly crash that occurred Friday morning in Landers, authorities said.
The fatal crash happened at about 3:03 a.m., on May 21, on Reche Road.
According to California Highway Patrol, Leroy Plum, 56, of Yucca Valley, was standing next to a 2004 Dodge truck that was disabled on the eastbound side of Reche Road when the truck was struck by a 2021 white Nissan Kicks car.
CHP said Plum was pinned between the car and his truck.

Sadly, Plum was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan, Darren Colemen, 61, of Twentynine Palms, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center.
Colleen Coleman and a 13-year-old passenger were seriously injured and were transported to Desert Regional for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
