One Person Killed, Two Others Injured in Tulare County Crash at Highway 198 and Road 210

Tulare County, California (May 22, 2021) – One person was killed and two other people were injured late Saturday morning in Tulare County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash, involving two vehicles, occurred at about 11:45 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 198 and Road 210. The area is east of Visalia and south of Woodlake.
A Nissan Altima was traveling on Road 210 when the driver allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a Dodge Charger that was heading eastbound on Highway 198 and had the right of way, the CHP said.

A passenger of the Altima died as a result of the crash. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Both drivers of the Altima and the Charger sustained minor injuries in the crash.
It is still unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
