18-Month-Old Boy Killed in Modesto Pedestrian Crash on Glenn Avenue
Modesto, California (May 22, 2021) – An 18-month-old boy was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Friday evening in Modesto, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 5:00 p.m., on May 21, on Glenn Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the boy was struck by a 2021 Toyota sedan on the roadway for undetermined reasons.

The boy was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The involved driver, a 19-year-old man, fled the scene but later for felony hit-and-run.
Intoxication was not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
