Daniel Guerrero Killed in South Gate Accident on Firestone Boulevard near Alameda Street

South Gate, California (May 19, 2021) – Daniel Guerrero, 23, of Cudahy was killed in a car crash suspected to have been caused by street racing in South Gate on Sunday evening, according to the South Gate Police Department.
The crash happened at around 7:45 p.m. May 16, on Firestone Boulevard near Alameda Street.
According to a preliminary investigation, a Dodge Charger and BMW were reportedly racing in the area when one of them collided with a vehicle driven by Guerrero.
Daniel Guerrero Killed in South Gate Car Crash
The impact caused Guerrero’s car to catch fire. He sadly succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver who collided with Guerrero also died in the accident.
Police are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
