At Least 1 Hurt in La Mesa Accident on State Route 125 at 8 Freeway
La Mesa, California (May 15, 2021) – At least one person was injured following a suspected hit-and-run traffic collision that occurred in La Mesa on Thursday, May 13.
The California Highway Patrol said the crash occurred on State Route 125 near the Interstate 8 Freeway connecting ramp.
The accident involved two automobiles that crashed on the northbound side of the freeway for undetermined reasons.
The CHP affirmed the crash resulted in unspecified injuries to at least one person.
One of the drivers reportedly fled the crash site towards El Cajon Boulevard after the mishap.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
