1 Injured in Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Redwood Street in Vallejo
Vallejo, California (May 14, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened in Vallejo on Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 Freeway near Redwood Street at about 1:25 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, the impact of the collision caused one vehicle to overturn.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
