1 Killed in Winton Bicycle Crash at Santa Fe Avenue and Chestnut Avenue
Merced County, California (May 14, 2021) – A bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle near Winton in Merced County on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal bicycle accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. at Santa Fe Avenue and Chestnut Avenue.
The authorities said a person was on a bicycle when he was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The bicyclist died at the scene of the accident.
