Chula Vista, California (May 14, 2021) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning in Chula Vista, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 3:30 a.m. on Interstate 5 near East Highway 54.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was struck by a passing car in unclear circumstances.
Sadly, the pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
