Scott Mahoney Injured in Jamestown Accident on Villa Road and Highway 108
Jamestown, California (May 11, 2021) – Scott Mahoney, 15, of Jamestown was seriously injured in a traffic crash involving a big rig near Jamestown on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at around 9:40 a.m. May 11, on Villa Road and Highway 108.
According to CHP, Mahoney was driving a Dodge Charger northbound on Mill Villa when he failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a 2017 Peterbilt semi pulling a piggy-backed logging trailer traveling east on Highway 108.
Scott Mahoney Injured in Jamestown Crash
Mahoney sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
CHP said Mahoney was also arrested for DUI.
The other driver, Anthony Forret, 60, of Murphys, was not injured.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
