Redlands, California (May 9, 2021) – The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau has identified the man who died Friday, nine days after a traffic accident at an intersection in Redlands as Kevin Robert Sorrell, 70, of Redlands.

The deadly crash happened at around 11:12 a.m. April 27 at the intersection of E. Lugonia Avenue and N. University Street.

The authorities said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons at the Redlands intersection.

Sorrel was taken by emergency responders to the Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he died from his injuries at 12:02 p.m. on May 7.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation by the Redlands Police Department.
