Joshua Kunkle Killed in Whitewater Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Highway 62
Whitewater, California (May 1, 2021) – Joshua Kunkle, 37, of La Quinta, has been identified as the man who was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday morning in Whitewater near Palm Springs, according to the Riverside County coroner’s office.
The accident happened at about 4 a.m. on Interstate 10 Freeway near Highway 62, the CHP said.
First responders arrived at the scene and found a vehicle on its roof, about 30 feet down an embankment.
Kunkle, who was in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
